Panasonic Scholarship

1. Application and Selection
Application forms are accepted by overseas group companies of Matsushita Electric Industrial Co. Ltd (MEI, here in after) under their initiatives. The 7 applicable countries / region are China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Taiwan and Vietnam. Please ask the local office below listed about more details.
2. Contents of Panasonic Scholarship:
1)Research Student of Graduate School (max. one year)
a. Monthly Scholarship: 150,000 yen per month
b. Arrival Allowance: Max. 200,000 yen to be paid before or after arrival
(The payment system depends on each country and area.)
c. Tuition Assistance*: Max. 500,000 yen per year
* The actual amount will be paid if the tuition fee is less than ¥500,000 per year.

2)Master's Course (max. two years)
a. Monthly Scholarship: 180,000 yen per month
b. Admission Fee Assistance: Max. 200,000 yen to be paid on entrance to Graduate School
c. Tuition Assistance: Max. 500,000 yen per year
*Note:
( i ) The actual amount will be paid if the actual amount is less than 500,000 yen.
(ii) The actual amount will be provided for the Fee-exempted or Fee-deducted students.

* Above scheme of scholarship contents may be subject to change without prior notice.

3. Duration:
For max. 3 years, including max. one year of research student/ Japanese language trainee and max. 2 years of master course.
